How to play Fruit Slash
Fruit is thrown up from the bottom of the screen. Hold the mouse button or keep your finger on the screen and swipe through the fruit before it falls back down. Each fruit is worth 10 points, and slicing three or more in quick succession adds a combo bonus of 10 points per fruit.
Each fruit that falls back unsliced is a miss, and three misses end the game. After the first few seconds bombs are thrown up too, and touching one with your blade ends the game at once. Fruit comes in bigger groups as time goes on, and every half minute or so a Frenzy fills the screen with fruit for a few seconds.
Tips
- ▸Make long, sweeping swipes that pass through several fruits at once to build combos.
- ▸The blade only cuts while you are pressing. When a bomb is near, lift your finger or release the button and move freely.
- ▸Fruit hangs almost still at the top of its arc. Wait for a group to bunch up there, then cut through them together.
- ▸Any fruit you miss during a Frenzy still counts, so keep slicing until it ends.

- How many fruits can you miss in Fruit Slash?
- Three. The circles at the top right fill with a red cross for each miss, and the third one ends the game.
- What happens if you slice a bomb?
- It explodes and the game ends immediately, whatever your score or number of misses.
- What is Frenzy?
- Roughly every half minute the word FRENZY appears and fruit is launched rapidly for about three seconds. It is the best time to rack up points and combos.
- Does it work on touch screens?
- Yes. Swipe with your finger to slice. It runs in phone and tablet browsers.
