How to play Stack Tower
A block slides back and forth above your tower. Tap, click or press Space to drop it. Any part that hangs over the edge of the block below is sliced off and falls away, so the next block is only as wide as the piece that landed. New blocks come in from alternate sides.
Each block you place adds one point to your score. If you drop a block almost exactly on top of the one below, you get a Perfect: nothing is cut off and the block grows back a little, up to its starting width. The blocks slide faster as the tower rises. Miss the tower completely and the game is over.
Tips
- βΈWatch the edges, not the middle. Drop when the leading edge of the moving block lines up with the edge of the block below.
- βΈIf you miss the moment on the first pass, don't panic. The block bounces off the side of the screen and comes back.
- βΈPerfect drops are how you win back width, so chaining them keeps the tower wide enough for the faster blocks later on.
- βΈTake extra care early on. Every bit of width you lose at the start makes the fast blocks later much harder to land.
