How to play Mini Golf
Mini Golf is a nine-hole putting course, from the Warm-up to The Finale. Press on the ball, drag back away from where you want it to go and let go. The ball travels opposite to your drag, and a longer drag hits harder; an aiming line shows your direction and power. A tiny drag cancels without costing a stroke.
The course is par 31. Walls bounce the ball, areas with moving arrows push it along, and water costs a penalty stroke and returns the ball to where you last played from. The ball must be rolling slowly to drop, though gentle near misses get pulled in. Your score is your total number of strokes, so lower is better.
Tips
- ▸Most putts don't need full power. A fast ball skims past the cup, so aim for a speed that would roll just beyond it.
- ▸Use bank shots. Bouncing off a wall is often the shortest way round an obstacle.
- ▸Allow for slopes: the arrows show which way the ground pushes, so aim slightly against them.
- ▸Near water, two careful putts beat one risky one.
